FAQ's
Q: Can I replace just one tyre?
A: Technically, yes – you can replace just one tyre.
However, we don’t usually recommend it. Uneven tyre wear can impact your vehicle’s handling, safety, and performance. For the best driving experience, we advise replacing tyres in pairs (or all four, depending on wear).
Q: Do you offer mobile tyre fitting?
A: Yes, we do! Our mobile tyre fitting service brings the garage to you – whether you're at home, work, or even stuck at the roadside. Just give us a call, and we’ll get you sorted.

Q: How do I know when my tyres need replacing?
A: The most obvious signs are low tread depth (below 1.6mm), visible damage like cracks or bulges, or if your car feels unstable or noisy while driving. If you're unsure, pop in – we offer free tyre checks.
Q: Do I need winter tyres?
A: If you drive in cold, icy, or snowy conditions regularly, winter tyres can significantly improve grip and safety. In the UK, they're not mandatory but are highly recommended during colder months.
Q: What tyre brands do you stock?
A: We stock a wide range of leading brands, including Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgestone, and many reliable budget options too. We’ll help you find the best fit for your vehicle and budget.
Finding the right size
Tyre sizes are given as a string of numbers and letters, moulded into the tyre sidewall. The diagram provided here explains the meaning of each part of the tyre size code.
The correct tyre sizes for your vehicle will be listed in your owner's manual and on the tyre placard: a sticker or plate found either on the driver-side door frame, inside the glovebox, or inside the fuel cap cover.
